We can not even put into words how impressed we are with not only the resort itself but the generous knowledge and service we received from Jay and Eva. We planned a trip to stay in Coronado after some research ourselves to look at possible relocation (and of course a vacation) Jay was always very quick to respond to any questions we had and provided us with honest answers and people to help us with our requests. (Realtor, Lawyer, Car Rentals, Taxi Services, Airport Transfers just to name a few) Our experience with all these services Jay recommended were all 5 star service as well. Jay went above and beyond daily giving us recommended itineraries that met our interests with restaurants to try, new beaches, different areas to visit, hiking etc with exact google locations……..
We are just finishing up our stay at Casa Swell and we don’t want to leave! The beds are comfortable, suites are clean and the pool is perfect! Our experience has been top notch since we made the booking. Jay was quick to respond to my questions before we arrived. Every recommendation was spot on. It’s about a 7 minute walk to playa Coronado It’s an awesome walking beach and when the tide is out you can easily go for an hour and a half long walk.
We made use of the cooking facilities, so convenient. You’ll want try the Casa Swell rum, a very nice sipping drink! Thanks for a great introduction to Playa Coronado Jay!
The place is beautiful, it’s calm and stimulating at the same time! The possibility of making meals (with a real chef’s BBQ!) makes the experience even more pleasant.
The rooms are pretty and practical, the mattresses are very comfortable.
The hosts are exceptional people, I can say that we have 2 new friends! Don’t hesitate to ask for advices, they know where to go to find magical spots!
Casa Swell is in a safe gated community close to anything you could possibly need including the beautiful Playa Coronado. Jay and Ava who think they own the place (we all know Toro their dog is really in charge!) are two of the most wonderful people you will ever meet. They are also a fountain of information on everything from real estate to tourist spots to where the best surf is and they give this information freely.
Don’t forget to ask for the world famous breakfast. You’ve never had fresher fruit. If 5 star franchise hotels are your thing that’s fine. My wife and I would rather have tons of fun and make lifelong friends. If I could rate Casa Swell higher I would. We will definitely be back!
