Flight from Canada or the US to Tocumen which is the airport of Panama City located 1h15 from Playa Coronado. Direct flight with Copa airlines, Air Canada or United, Delta and Spirit for the United States.

Flights from Europe with Air France KLM from Amsterdam or Paris, from Madrid with Iberia.

What is very interesting for Canadians, Air Transat and Sunwing will resume flights to Rio Hato in December 2021, an airport that is only 40 minutes from Playa Coronado while Tocumen is 1h15 away. They are currently offering very attractive rates for early bookings.

From the airport, we can send you a private transfer that will take you to the hotel or you can rent a car at the airport to join us and be able to visit all the beaches and mountains around the hotel freely. A 4×4 is not necessary if you are staying in the Panama Oeste area. If you wish to venture further into the interior of the country, an SUV is recommended.

Traffic is quite heavy on weekdays between 3:30 and 7:30 pm, so it is best to avoid these hours when leaving the city. If your flight arrives in the evening, we even recommend that you spend a night in Panama City and discover the city.

As we regularly receive international clients, we are a little bit aware of the best options to come to Panama, the prices of the flights and their application by the companies. The airlines seem to be a bit hungry because of the crisis we just went through and they want to fill their coffers in this way: they offer cheap fares if you book at least 2 or 3 months in advance but they exaggerate a bit for last minute travelers who book one month or less before their departure. We have already seen tickets take 200 to 300$ in only one week, 3 weeks before the departure (converted in Panamanian beer at 60 cents, that changes everything).
